Our approach
TempMailHub provides free, disposable email addresses so you can keep your real inbox private. We collect as little information as possible, and you do not need an account to use the basic features. This policy explains what we handle, why, and what choices you have.
Information we handle
- Messages sent to a temporary address you generate, which we show to you in your inbox
- Basic technical data such as browser type and approximate region, used to keep the site running and secure
- Account details such as your email address, only if you choose to sign in
- Messages you send us through the contact page or by email, so we can reply
Why we use this information
We use messages to show them in the inbox you opened. We use technical data to keep the service available, prevent abuse and fix problems. We use account details only to let you sign in and use features that need an account.
How long messages are kept
Messages are removed automatically after a limited period, currently up to 30 days. You can also delete them yourself at any time. Once removed, they cannot be recovered.
Who can see a temporary inbox
A temporary address is not private in the way a personal mailbox is. Anyone who knows or guesses an address may be able to open its inbox. Please do not use a temporary address for anything sensitive, and do not have passwords, financial details or personal documents sent to one.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information, we do not read your messages for marketing, and we do not ask for payment details.
Advertising and cookies
Some pages may show advertising provided by third-party partners, who may use cookies to show relevant ads. See our cookie policy for details and how to manage cookies in your browser.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No online service can promise perfect security, which is another reason to keep sensitive information out of temporary inboxes.
Your choices and rights
You may stop using the service at any time, clear your browser data, or ask us to delete any account information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and California, you may also have the right to ask what information we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to certain uses. To make a request, email contact@tempmailhub.tech and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Links to other sites
Our pages may link to other websites, including guides and company profiles. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
